It Takes to Create a Metal of Independent Film Production Happen
Commitment is an independent film resources, the most valuable. Without much money to grease the wheels of production, a low budget film producer must rely on the creativity and determination to get their films made. If people want to get the film made very simply, there are not many in the world that can stop this from happening.
Make your own movie with your own money is a very daunting task. Can also be very useful. If you decide to take the awesome responsibility of writing, directing, and producing their own independent film, you better know what you have to before. Once you set the ball in motion, there is no return. You well and you make a successful film to film festival circuit (which is great achievement in itself and with), or you crash and burn halfway through the film production process and vision of the film you never see the light of day.
When you see the movie I suggest you pay particular attention to the credits at the end of the film. Please see how many names scroll across the screen and this will give you an idea of how many jobs that go into making a film. Then take all the name and image on the screen in front of the name of every credit for each job and this will give you an idea of your work will be much to be done to make the film itself.
When I first graduated from film school I hit the ground running. I landed a decent job as Director and Animator in an independent film that Pat Boones name attached to. I recruited for clay animation film about the story of the Bible. I work at a job for about four months and was paid well enough for the business. I decided that the best things I can do with the money I saved was to make another film. I will take my money and participate and use it for their own benefit. I decided to create their own film with the idea that I will enter in film festivals in the circuit and hopefully win some awards. If that happens almost surely will be the impetus for seed film career.
